BACKGROUND

The Aal Taher Group launched Asian Lubricating Oil Company (ALOC) in 1995 to manufacture and market a range of automotive and industrial lubricants – branded as “QBREX Lubricants” – to meet the need of Saudi market. The goal of ALOC is threefold:

  • To draw on the specific knowledge of the Saudi market and Saudi needs that comes from being a one hundred percent Saudi-owned, private sector Company with business experience in the Kingdom
  • To introduce the most advanced, leading edge, international lubricants technology to the Saudi customers with products designed specifically for the Saudi market and manufactured in the Kingdom
  • To provide a comprehensive lubrication package tailored to meet the specific needs of the Saudi consumers – both private and commercial.

ALOC believes in developing strong long-term relationship with each of its customers by providing a comprehensive lubricant service, tailor-made to meet each customer’s requirements, and contribute to improving cost effectiveness and profitability.

Our technical team evaluates the customer’s need and provides solutions for a wide spectrum of customer’s requirement by applying some or all of the following parameters:

Evaluation through:

  • Studying current work practices / lubrication procedures / applications
  • Evaluating Lubricant needs – rationalizing grades to be use
  • Obtaining OEM’s recommendations where required
  • Evaluating needs of specialty products
  • Investigating oil handling, storage and dispensing – bulk lubricant requirements
  • Establishing Health, fire and Safety Standards
  • Organizing Staff Training – Lube familiarization, applications and good housekeeping practices

Technical support – After Sales:

  • Scheduled Oil Sampling and Interpretation of the results
  • Monitoring Customer’s Lubrication practices / operations and standards with a view to improvement
  • Institute a planned preventive maintenance program if required
  • Ensure lubricant usage is at optimum levels and not excessive
  • Periodic on-the-job training of staff
